Protection and confidentiality of personal data [GDPR]

This page contains essential information regarding how Deltamed processes personal data collected through the website www.deltamed.ro.

What is personal data?

According to Article 4(1) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation – GDPR), personal data means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (“data subject”). A person can be identified, directly or indirectly, by: name, identification number, location data, online identifier or other factors specific to his physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity.

What data do we collect?

By uploading a Curriculum Vitae (CV) or subscribing to our newsletter on the website www.deltamed.ro, you can provide us with the following data:

• Name and surname
• Email address and/or phone number
• Date of birth, gender
• Profession, field of activity, postal code
• Information related to personal or career interests

Some of this data is also collected from users who subscribe to our periodic newsletters or new job alerts.

Legal basis, purpose and duration of processing

• For CVs: we process data pursuant to art. 6 par. (1) letter b (for pre-contractual measures) and letter a (consent) of the GDPR. The purpose is assessment for employment purposes.

• For the newsletter: we process the email address based on consent (art. 6 para. (1) lit. a of the GDPR). In order to be able to prove consent, we will also store the IP address.

CVs are kept for a maximum period of 3 years, unless you request their deletion. You can do this at any time by sending an email to [email protected] / [email protected].

Your rights

You have the following rights regarding the personal data provided:

• Right of access, rectification and updating (e.g. sending an updated CV)
• Right of deletion (e.g. requesting removal of CV)
• Right to unsubscribe from the newsletter – via an e-mail to [email protected]

Correspondence and contact forms

If you contact us via form or email, we will process the message and associated data until the issues discussed are clarified.

Transmission of data to third parties

Deltamed will not sell or rent your data to third parties.

Data may only be transmitted in the following situations:

• With your explicit consent;
• To authorities, based on a legal obligation or court order;
• In the event of a merger, acquisition or judicial liquidation, according to the law, you will be notified by email or through an announcement on the Deltamed website.
