General Purpose of the Role

To ensure accurate and complete financial records in compliance with current legislation, by recording accounting documents, preparing tax declarations, and participating in audit and year-end closing processes, thereby contributing to the smooth operation of the company.

Main Responsibilities:

  • • Recording invoices from domestic and international suppliers in the accounting system (including resolving discrepancies or clarifications with procurement and warehouse/reception departments);
  • • Recording bank statements, correctly allocating payments and receipts, and performing monthly bank account reconciliations;
  • • Issuing invoices to clients (mainly international), in compliance with contractual terms and applicable legislation;
  • • Preparing and submitting monthly/quarterly/annual reports and declarations:

BAE (declarations required by authorities for specific imported products/equipment);

EEE (reports related to environmental legislation compliance);

Packaging (reports on packaging management);

Intrastat (statistical reporting for intra-EU transactions);

  • • Actively participating in monthly checks required for preparing tax declarations (e.g., VAT, D112, etc.);
  • • Collaborating with external auditors during annual financial audits and with tax consultants when needed;
  • • Participating in the year-end closing process and preparing documentation for the financial statement;
  • • Keeping accounting records up to date and archiving documents according to legal regulations and internal procedures;
  • • Providing support for internal control activities or financial analyses requested by management.Oferirea de suport în activități de control intern sau analize financiare solicitate de management.

Candidate profile

Requirements:

  • • University degree in Economics, Accounting, or Finance;
  • • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role (preferably in a manufacturing or international trade company);
  • • Solid knowledge of primary accounting and taxation – Fiscal Code, Accounting Law;
  • • Knowledge of applicable tax legislation (VAT, taxes, reporting obligations, etc.);
  • • Experience using accounting software (e.g., ERP systems – SAP, Navision, ASIS, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.);
  • • Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel);
  • • English language proficiency – intermediate/advanced level;
  • • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, analytical and synthesis abilities, ability to meet deadlines, team spirit, integrity, psychological flexibility, and a proactive attitude aimed at achieving success in the role.
