QUALITY CONTROL SPECIALIST / TECHNICIAN

Job Responsibilities

  • • Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections of products/equipment – check product conformity at different manufacturing stages using measuring tools for technical specification validation and diagnostic tests for error detection;
  • • Draft control instructions, work procedures, checklists, and other documents relevant to the area of responsibility;
  • • Actively participate in solving quality issues (e.g., using tools such as 5 Whys, Pareto, Fault Tree Analysis) and in managing and tracking customer/supplier complaints;
  • • Identify, analyze in detail, and report detected defects or non-conformities to project managers and department colleagues using appropriate communication tools (e.g., email);
  • • Propose documented technical solutions for resolving identified problems;
  • • Actively engage in handling customer complaints, liaising with internal and external customers to ensure recurrence of defects is eliminated;
  • • Monitor the production flow to ensure compliance with quality standards, verify conformity of vehicles, subassemblies, materials, and supplier equipment, and propose process improvement measures;
  • • Complete inspection documentation (both digitally and physically), ensure product traceability and record deviations, collect and register inspection and testing data;
  • • Label products (compliant/non-compliant) and apply traceability labels as required;
  • • Participate in tracking non-quality costs – internal and external;
  • • Manage applicable QMS documentation (Quality Management System);
  • • Follow up and verify the effectiveness of corrective actions (“lesson learned” approach).

Candidate profile

  • • Education: Graduate of secondary or higher education in a technical field;
  • • Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in quality control, preferably in the automotive, metal fabrication, or manufacturing industry;
  • • Technical Knowledge:

– Ability to interpret mechanical and electrical technical drawings;

– Use of quality tools such as check sheets, control charts, flow charts, and histograms;

– Proficiency in using measuring and control equipment (e.g., calipers, vernier calipers, micrometers);

– Knowledge of problem-solving and continuous improvement methodologies;

  • • Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Visio, PowerPoint);
  • • Language Skills: English – intermediate/advanced level;
  • • Driving License: Minimum category B;
  • Essential Personal Skills:
    • Ability to detect errors and deviations from standards;
    • Analytical thinking for identifying root causes of non-conformities;
    • Clear and effective communication, both internally and externally;
    • Effective time management and task prioritization to meet inspection, delivery, and reporting deadlines;
    • Results-oriented, flexible to process and requirement changes;
    • Passion for technical fields and commitment to continuous learning.
