Vehicle Assembly Technician (Subassembly Installer)

Purpose of the Position
Ensure proper, efficient mechanical assembly in compliance with the technical specifications of the company’s special-purpose vehicles (ambulances, emergency vehicles, intervention units), thus contributing to the delivery of safe, functional, and high-quality products. This position directly supports the production flow by assembling structural and mechanical components in line with technical drawings and internal standards.

Main Responsibilities

  • • Assembling the structural and mechanical components of special vehicles according to technical documentation and assembly diagrams;
  • • Drilling, cutting, and fastening parts needed for assembly using specific electrical and manual tools;
  • • Participating directly in the integration process of components (mounting brackets, shelves, fastening systems, casings, interior/exterior structures);
  • • Performing quality checks at each assembly stage in accordance with DELTAMED quality standards;
  • • Working closely with electricians, mechanics, and finishers to ensure consistency and quality throughout the production process;
  • • Complying with health and safety regulations (OSH), and with internal quality and safety standards.

Candidate profile

Ideal Candidate

  • • Completed secondary education in a technical field (mechanical, electromechanical, automotive, etc.);
  • • Previous experience in production, metal fabrication, assembly, or technical maintenance is a plus;
  • • Good ability to read and interpret technical drawings (mechanical/structural);
  • • Skilled in using electric and hand tools: screwdrivers, drills, grinders, pliers, wrenches, etc.;
  • • Team player with discipline and strong attention to detail;
  • • Technical certifications or relevant professional qualifications are a plus.

Additional Advantages:

  • • Experience in mechanical assembly in the automotive, special vehicles, or metal structures sector;
  • • Experience working with composite materials, panels, or lightweight structures;
  • • Possession of OSH, ISCIR, or other relevant technical certifications.
