Medical Equipment Service Engineer

Location: Deltamed headquarters, Gilău-CJ, occasional travel
Department: Service
Job Purpose
Ensuring the installation, verification and repair of medical equipment intended for equipping ambulances and other special vehicles (e.g. defibrillators, injection machines, ventilators, incubators, etc.), as well as maintaining correct and updated technical documentation for each intervention.
Main responsibilities
- • Preparing medical equipment for installation in ambulances.
- • Effective installation of equipment in vehicles, according to technical specifications and quality standards.
- • Carrying out repairs, technical verifications and corrective interventions of an electrical/electronic nature on medical devices.
- • Initial participation in verification activities of C3 and CPR (Corpuls) type devices, with the possibility of expanding responsibilities as skills develop.
- • Completing the documentation related to the work performed in the Service management application (intervention sheets, verification reports, etc.).
- • Availability for travel in the Transylvania and Banat areas, for installations or interventions at customers.
- • Active participation in training courses, instruction sessions and other professional development activities.
Candidate profile
Mandatory requirements:
- • Higher technical education in the electrical, electrotechnical or electronic field (studies in the field of medical devices are an advantage).
- • Relevant experience in the technical field, on the job (preferably ≥ 3 years).
- • Category B driving license, driving experience (preferably ≥ 3 years).
- • English language (minimum upper intermediate level – understanding technical documentation, easy communication both written and spoken with medical equipment manufacturers).
- • Availability for planned, occasional travel.
Technical skills and competences:
- • Solid practical skills in the electrical and mechanical field.
- • Knowledge of using electrical measuring and testing equipment (multimeter, oscilloscope, etc.).
- • Good knowledge of PC operation – Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), installing software applications, operating ERP software (e.g. SAP, Oracle).
- • Advanced organizational skills and attention to detail, rigorous documentation of work performed.
- • Proactivity, self-taught spirit and permanent orientation towards results and continuous learning.
- • Team spirit, very good communication skills and tact in dealing with other people.
